A Voice Like Yours: Words and Images from a
Shared Sojourn
In an exchange spanning two years, three countries and almost fifty participants, artists from Washington and Ireland lived and worked together and independently, shared ideas, techniques and stories.
Beginning in Galway and Belfast with an exhibition of artwork, Millennium Images-Ireland and America by Women Painters of Washington, the exchange included exhibitions, workshops by US artists, and studio visits. The cross-community workshops resulted in ongoing printmaking classes for youth from both sides of Belfast’s community.
