Seattle Print Arts co-founder Barbara Robertson and current President Sally Schuh, working with Jin Baoping, developed a reciprocal exchange with Shenzhen University and Shenzhen Fine Art Institute.
In 2004, American artists traveled to Shenzhen to exhibit.
In 2007, Seattle Print Arts hosted an exhibition of work by Chinese printmakers at Gallery 110. Other events included:
A lecture on Contemporary Art in China by Qi Feng-ge, Dean of the College of Art and Design at Shenzhen University, at the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
A demonstration of woodcut techniques by Qijia Dawa at Pratt Fine Art Center.
Seattle Print Arts published a comprehensive full-color catalog of the exhibitions.
